COURSE CONTENT

Facilitated by local doulas living within Northern Ireland, with 25 years of collective experience, providing insight into NI maternity services and extensive experience of supporting the local birthing community.

Ongoing support throughout the course with monthly mentoring calls between training weekends. Also with the option to join an exclusive private online support group.
3. TIME
Course attended on 2 weekends, spread over 3 month period giving you plenty of time for reflection and course completion.

Instant networking opportunities with doulas working in Northern Ireland, as well as trust contacts.
5. CONFIDENCE
Confidence to support all types of birth, to support families postnatally, and to be enthusiastic and fully prepared to work as a doula in Northern Ireland.
6. DOULA UK and DAI APPROVED
Our training is approved by Doula UK, the UK's leading doula association, and by the Doula Association of Ireland, Ireland's most active community of professional doulas. All of our graduates can become members of DUK and/or DAI and avail of the mentorship and peer support of the doula community.
